Shell completion

Available since v0.10

The completions subcommand outputs completion scripts for various shells.

Installing for each shell

Section titled “Installing for each shell”

Bash

Section titled “Bash”

Add the following to ~/.bashrc:

~/.bashrc
eval "$(console2svg completions script bash)"

Zsh

Section titled “Zsh”

Add the following before the compinit call in ~/.zshrc:

~/.zshrc
eval "$(console2svg completions script zsh)"

Fish

Section titled “Fish”

Place the script in the completions directory:

Terminal
mkdir -p ~/.config/fish/completions
console2svg completions script fish > ~/.config/fish/completions/console2svg.fish

PowerShell

Section titled “PowerShell”

Add the following to the PowerShell profile ($PROFILE):

$PROFILE
Invoke-Expression (& console2svg completions script pwsh | Out-String)
